Kyle has made LynAnn & I very proud. We just got his report card for this last quarter and it is the best report card that I have seen from Kyle since he started middle school.

Alora is trying to walk already at 8 months. Boy can she crawl when she wants to. She is also great had hiding things in her mouth......such a little mouth but where she hides things I have no idea.

Spring is here

Will April is almost over. It is hard to believe that another month is gone. LynAnn's parents are back in town. I am just waiting to hear back from mine.

Kenneth is still looking for a job and his Grandma is helping him out by getting him some nice sports jackets for him to wear, but with out ties.

Keith is now working For Complete Office as an employee. He is working about 25 hours a week. This should help him learn to budget him money. We think he has a girl friend but don't ask him he will deny it and would probably be mad at me for posting this.

Kyle is in track, he is doing high jump and hurdles. Kyle turned fourteen and is not a teacher. It was quit an honor to ordain Kyle to the office of teacher. He is now about a inch taller then his mom. His sisters love him dearly.

Brett is growing like a weed. It seem that we are buying pants every time he walks through the door from school. He is starting to read a lot and enjoys it. He finished the book of "Diary of a Wimpy kid".

Ruby is now two and my sister tells me her she is my pay back for being a problem at the age of two.....I don't remember that and since my sister is old how can she remember that far back, any ways Ruby is doing great and is petite as always.

Alora is now wearing or soon to be wearing diapers larger then Ruby. She starting to really crawl this month and figured out how to move forward. I may have to buy LynAnn some skates to keep up with both Alora.

It is hard to believe how fast our girls are growing. A picture of Ruby & Alora when they are about the same age, 7-8 months old. Ruby is now a little girl ALL THE WAY. She is changing her outfits about 3 times a day and can never make up her mind what she wants. Alora on the other hand is just hanging back laughing at her sister and is all smiles. We have been blessed thru & thru with these wonderful girls.

Wow how time flies. It has been almost 6 months since our last post.

Kenneth is still looking for a job. The good news is he is drawing again.

Keith is tired of school can't wait until he is done, been working off and on.

Kyle is doing well in school this year and is taking scuba lessons.

Brett has grown a lot the past six months. Hates having to wear a tie to church now he is 8.

Ruby is petite as always. Its hard to believe she is almost 2. She is very loving towards her sister.

Alora is all smiles and is very easy going. She has to be to put up with her loving sister smothering her.

LynAnn & I are doing great, busy as always. LynAnn's preparing another Cub Scout day camp. I looks to be another good one this year. My work has been growing so has my job. This past week we added a Spokane division so I was only home long enough to sleep. Hopefully this week will bring us all back on track.

Love you all

Taking a Snoozer.

One peaceful little girl. Too bad it doesn't last long enough. These moments go by so quickly then their grown.

Playing in the Park.

The kids found this big tree in the park and just had a blast swinging on the branches. Even Ruby wanted to try.

Where's My Fishing Pole??????

Poor Chris.

Kyle recieved his star at the last court of honor. This takes alot of hard work to finish merit badges and service hours. We are VERY PROUD of boy scout. He has 6 months and only 2 more merit badges to finish for Life and then we will be onto EAGLE!!

Little Alora is one month old today. I just can't believe it. She has changes in so many ways already. We all love her so much and are so glad she is part of our family.

My True Love

I had to laugh today. I went to Sam's club to pick up the food for the boy scout recognition dinner. I put Alora in the Moby wrap (which by the way is the best invention ever for a mom who needs her hands) and had Ruby in the cart. The cashier thought it was so sweet for me to have two cute little girls. Boy did her jaw drop when I told her they had four older brothers. "SIX KIDS" she blurted out "you and your husband must really love each other".

She is right. I love my husband very much and I know he loves me. We have been so lucky to have found one another. He is a great father and wonderful companion. I am so glad we have been to the temple and have each other for eternity.

There's a Brand New Baby at the Holmes' House!

We have been blessed beyond measure with this little treasure. Alora Dawn Holmes was born August 24, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches. We are so pleased to have her in our family and give thanks to God for such a wonderful gift.

This week in life

This is wild to see how life passes us by in hyper speed.

Kenneth our 19 yr old college student thinks that parent are the bottomless bank for money.
(we wish)
Keith our 17yr old going on 30 is at the age that all parents know NOTHING!
(if only he knew that all 17 yr old think they know everything...wait until he is 22 and find out how much we learned as parents in 5 years)
Kyle is in the early teens and is starting to act like one more often the not.
(on word ATTITUDE, if he only knew how much it hurts us)
Brett our 7 yr old says some of the sweetist things then turns around and spoils it by saying something foolish.
(Brett needs to learn to look around before he says something that is not a good word to make sure that his parents are not around)
Ruby our 1 yr old has learned to climb just about everything she can try.
(she trusts that we will always be there to catch her, we try but one of these time we will miss)

The sad thing about us as parents......these may seem troublesome but a few years down the road we will want is all back again......life moves very fast before we know it is gone.....

Pictures and journals to preserve these moments will be all we leave behind

Ruby's Birthday

Ruby's first birthday. She thought is was really funny when we started to sing happy birthday to her. Ok, ya she did know that camera was on her and she started to ham it up with the cupcake. I was surprised that she actually ate the cupcake, ok she wore most if it.

Grandma visits

We had the pleasure of having Grandma Williams come for a visit this week. Ruby really enjoyed see her and went to her. LynAnn found out how much Ruby really does look like her now when they were looking at old photo's. I guess I should tell her how much see looks like her mom.

Kyle's Birthday

Kyle was very luck to have his birthday fall on spring break. Although he keep looking throughout the house for his presents he never was able to find them. Here is Kyle, Brett and Ruby sitting in front of the computer watching a movie.
(the best place to hide things is to not hide them at all!)

mad science

At the fair they had a MAD SCIENTIST. It is surprising how the kids love liquid nitrogen.

science fair

Brett entered a science fair. His bug collection (bug grave yard) had many good things. It was good to see that Brett's was the only one that was actually worked on by the kid. Most of the others it looked like the parents had their hands in it more then the kids.
